Communication device

Design + build a device, capable of sending and receiving messages at a distance. (For the purpose of the class, the distance will be 10 feet.).

Design a new code that can transmit any English text message. Consider ways to ensure messages are accurately received. (You cannot use existing codes, such as Morse.)

How it works

The matrix has been designed in a way that anyone in the world can use this communication device to interpret the signal. As it’s rules translates into the “common language” of everyone.

The matrix is formed with alphabets written from A to Z in the order. The alphabets are then divided into a set of three such that all alphabets become a part of 3x3x3 matrix containing 3^3 = 27 ( 26 alphabets + “.”) characters.

Every alphabet is formed out of two pairs of four lights. The first pair describes the in which cell does the alphabet lies. And second pair points to the position of the required alphabet in that cell. Therefore clearly reaching the exact alphabet without any complicated rules (like in Morse code)

Each person is a “node;” each “node” will be a “slide” or “card” or “page,”
and each link will be a “hyperlink.”

Methods used

I purposely used different methods for all three interactive elements for this assignment i.e. D3Js to build interactive family tree, FramerJS for Timeline and JQuery for Table. Using different methods of JS, unlike keynote/AE/principle etc. I learned how I can now apply any of these methods to build interactive systems that can be viewed/interacted anywhere in the world through webpages. Applying different JS techniques helped me learn which one is best suited for what purpose. And based on my expertise and the project type, I can choose the right tool in the future.

The tree has been designed in D3.js that runs on the website itself. User can navigate from that Family Tree to Family Table or Timeline.

What is Hypertension

A condition in which the force of the blood against the artery walls is too high. Blood pressure levels fluctuate throughout the day and can easily change as a result of stress, physical activity and even talking.

You can have high blood pressure and experience no obvious symptoms until you experience a stroke or heart attack. In some people, severe high blood pressure can result in nosebleeds, headaches, or dizziness
