At Meta, Sohaj is currently leading end-to-end UX for WhatsApp Business — including Automatic Events, native ads inside WhatsApp Business app, and the new Lists customer-management platform — designing how hundreds of millions of small businesses connect with billions of customers. Earlier at Meta, he drove the Creator Ads North Star vision for Partnership Ads, scaled global adoption of Advantage+ Creative GenAI tools beyond goal, and ran the growth design process across five teams with 70+ concurrent experiments — together contributing hundreds of millions of dollars in incremental revenue for advertisers and Meta.
Previously, Sohaj led design for Oracle's Supply Chain solutions — including a new Recall Management vision presented at Oracle OpenWorld '19 — and served as Head of Design at Help-Full, a community health platform that won the Red Dot Design Award, six Indigo Design Awards, and SF Design Week '24, with measurable reductions in healthcare utilization for the communities it served. At Monotype, he was a founding member of the Business Innovation team whose flagship "Message-in-Style" framework drove the Swyft Media acquisition and powered millions of downloads of branded mobile apps.
Sohaj is also passionate about mentoring — recognized as an ADPList Top 100 Global Mentor, having guided 200+ designers and regularly hosting talks, classes, and a custom-curated UX course. Envisioned Partnership Ads North Star which was shared by Meta’s CPO at company Q&A. Led ad creation redesign strategy and designed new Partnership Ads collection format, one of Meta’s highest-performing ad formats—contributing to hundreds of millions of annualized revenue.
Advantage+ Creative & GenAI 2022 – 2024
Led the Advantage+ Creative taxonomy across 5+ teams and 10+ GenAI features. Introduced the “Good Friction” framework that cut opt-out rates ~20% and scaled adoption beyond goal, contributing tens of millions in incremental revenue.
Earlier at Meta 2020 – 2022
Led design for Oracle’s Supply Chain solutions, including the Contract & Purchasing redesign and a new Recall Management vision for healthcare. OpenWorld ’19 demos (60K+ attendees) spawned new Procurement teams, and shipped the Self-Serve Procurement mobile + web app.
Designed a community health platform that connected users to hyper-local resources across varying levels of health literacy, demonstrating a ~20% reduction in healthcare utilization.
